Why Cleaning Leads to More Cleaning - 2010-03-03 19:56:34
<<< Previous - Barbie as Computer Engineer, and other Dolls and Pop Culture | Next - Ok Go, I Think I Love You >>>Hmmm, ok what IS this pile over here, I've totally forgotten why I set it aside... Oh right, it's all hand wash. Ok, add that to the list and set it over here. *sigh* ...Now what's this....it's clean, looks fine...oh dang, right, there's the rip, I need to sew this up. [This being a blanket, it's a kind of large thing to sew.] But we also need this because it's black, like the cat, and thus his hair won't show up on it as well. [And we can switch it out for something nicer should company come.]
Am I in the mood to hand wash or sew right now?
Noooooo....
Ok, so right then, on to other piles of clutter...
This moment brought to you from Batgrl's Spring Cleaning.
And no matter what anyone says I'm am NOT getting rid of my gumball machine. It's a Wanted Since Childhood Thing. [Remember the plastic ones that everyone had in the 70s? Weren't those great? My current one is made of glass and metal and painted red however. Definitely a step up.] At least I've stopped filling it with gum. Because I'd empty it too quickly, seeing as I'm a sugar vampire. That's my only step toward maturity on that subject - keeping it as a Display Only Artifact.
Also no matter what Jon says on the subject of presents I've finally come up with an absolutely silly birthday gift that he might actually like. Maybe. We'll see. He's so much better at the gift thing than I am that it's highly annoying.
